Our Music Director, Hamsa Arnold, and his team will present a classic program of music at St Mary’s during 2024:

26 May – Fusion Flamenco Guitar&SItar/Tabla, possibly including Willow
16 June – Byron Music Society: Louise Johnson, harp journey
23 June – Gaynor Morgan & Nicholas Routley (voice and piano)
30 June – Amatori Orchestra

Choirs

We have three choirs/singing groups at St Mary’s in Ballina:

St Mary’s Singers – sings at the 10 am Sunday service on 2-3 Sundays each month. All are welcome to join this group. Rehearsals are 2 pm each Thursday in the church. Led by Music Director, Hamsa Arnold.

St Mary’s Choir – performs at special events such as Nine Lessons and Carols, and choral evensong. New members will be auditioned. Led by Music Director Hamsa Arnold.

Threshold Choir – sings at bedsides of people who are very ill or approaching death. Singers need to be confident to carry their own part in a group of 3-4 singers. Led by Rev’d Cathy Ridd.
