Rainbow Spirit Altar Frontal<\/h3>\n

The Rainbow Spirit depicted on Altar at St Mary’s is a symbol of our Creator God, the eternal source of life, for Aboriginal Christians. In this Diocese we are working to encourage and foster reconciliation with the traditional owners of the lands on which we gather and worship. This Rainbow Spirit altar frontal is one way to show in a very visual way that we want to learn from and connect with the Bundjalung people. The frontal is an artwork created by two local Wiradjiri women who have been most generous in sharing their artistic gift with us.<\/p>\n

We are a community of Anglican Christians of all sizes and ages. We are not perfect, but we are committed to serving Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour, and through His example to love each other and reach out to the communities of Ballina and Lennox Head and surrounding areas.<\/span><\/p>

As a member of the local community or a visitor you are very welcome to join us at one of our services or one of our many activities.<\/span><\/p>

The Parish of Ballina is located in Northern New South Wales. It is one of twenty eight Parishes in the Diocese of Grafton.<\/span><\/p>
